What Are Your Plans?

Joe (hubby) and I have 2 vacations scheduled (one long weekend in Savannah and one short week in Texas) between now and the startup for Sing Swing. I'll also be busy with work, singing lessons and (hopefully) remodeling our guest bathroom. I guess finding an appropriate costume for Sing Swing will become something of a job...I can't take John's suggestion and "raid my grandmother's closet" because all of my grandparents were gone before I was 12 and any other relative who lived during that era are either in NY or CA...not that I would have fit into their clothes anyway (grin). So I guess I'll be "working" to look for something and then have it altered (wink).

Wow! Lots of great stuff coming up. First, I'm so excited to report that I will be recording my new song, "Keep them Safe" with many fellow members of Sing Live. This will take place at the Deltona Arts and Historical Center in Deltona, FL sometime in April. If you think you might be interested in joining us for this amazing opportunity, please contact me! :-) In a little less than 2 weeks, I'll be going to California for the ASCAP, "I Create Music Expo," where I will get to work with and learn from such musical greats as: Lionel Richie, Johnny Rzenik (the Goo Goo Dolls), Glen Ballard (producer of Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill album), Steven Schwartz (Disney's the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Wicked, etc) and so many more! Also, in June my husband and I will be heading to the UK with John and Sing Live! Can't wait!!
