Beaches for Boomers

I'm working on a page for a website (http://www.tips-for-the-beach.com) on beaches that are either geared toward an older crowd or for some reason are boomer friendly. If you have any beaches you've visited that you think boomers would like to know about I'd love the feedback.

I understand that AANR sanctioned facilities and resorts are Boomer friendly, but that's a whole different topic, so forget what I just said.

TIP... If you plan to get some sun by laying on your beach towel, be sure not to place it on an ant hill.  Otherwise, if you accidentally place your towel on an ant hill, and you happen to be using grape or other fruit-scented sunblock or lotions, the ants will think you're their lunch =)

We moved from Altamonte Springs 3 yrs ago to the SW Gulf Coast of FL and my favorite beach is Englewood Beach on Mansota Key.  The beaches are beautiful, clean and the water is crystal clear.  http://www.bestbeaches.org/englewoodbeach/

During the next few weeks the *snowbirds will start arriving, but this beach has an abundance of shells and turquoise waters.
