Wow, what a great example of one person helping another out!! That's what the GB community is all about, so thanks to you both.
Stone, as for your question about removing posts -- the message that appears comes up when a person removes his or her own reply, but not the entire thread. That's so that if someone reads the forum later, and you have removed a post, it's made clear. Let's say several people had responded to *your reply, and you deleted it -- those responses might not make sense anymore unless there's a marker of your action.
Make sense? Remember, we're always open to feedback and suggestions, so please feel free to leave us a note here or click "contact us" at the bottom of any page.
Sakara Amyra, Great photo! Creating a photo album is easy.
Just click "my home" at the very top of any page to go to your personal page.
Then click "upload media" below your profile picture (it has a big green plus sign next to it.)
That takes you to a page where you determine what album to put your pictures in. If you want all of your pictures to live in the same ablum, just click "Next" and they'll all be in an album called "MyHome'. If you want to create different albums, click "Or Create a New One" and type in the album name ("my family" or "my vacation"). That album name will then automaticaly appear in the "Select an Album" dropdown list so you can add to it in the futue. Click "Next."
That takes you to the media upload tool. Click "browse" and find the photo on your desktop. Select the photo which will make it appear on the upload list. Click "Upload". You'll see a green progress bar as it uploads.
When it's uploaded you'll have a chance to add a caption and determine if you want others to be able to comment on it or not.
Click "Finish" and the photo will be in an album under "media" on your personal page.
When you get more than one photo in an album, you can view them as a slideshow.
As to your second question, What is the View Source for? That's for advanced users who want to add HTML to their post. If you click on View Source, you can see the source code and add ot it. This is useful for embeding photos, videos and more. We're developing a method that's very simple so you don't need to know anything about HTML.
Hope this helps. By the way, we're going to be adding a series of video tutorials in the near future that will explain our most commonly asked questions.
