Would you want to un-retire?

With all the chaos surrounding NFL quarterback Brett Favre's decision to retire from professional football, followed by his reinstatement, we wondered ... if you're retired, would you ever consider un-retiring?  That is, taking your decision back?

Granted, most of us aren't weighing $20M contracts like Favre, but money might be a factor, or boredom, or the chance to start a new career.  What do you think?  And if you are still working, what does retirement look like for you?

Brett Farve hasn’t served his time though. In our decades, after 16 years of working, we were just getting our first promotions!

After moving to Central Florida and into a retirement community called Lake Ashton, I finally see that the retired life is better after being well-deserved. My neighbors and I all share the hardship of working since we were 15 years old; working overtime and through holidays with our familes. Although I am living the life I had always dreamed of NOW… it took a very long time to get here…. 49 years of work to be exact.

I am not saying that Brett has not worked his tail off, but I do not think it would be a good comparison. Yes, he will be un-retired from the NFL, especially since he is making millions on jersey sales alone. But if it were me, being the old man that I am, I would not leave this glorious life of retirement for anything amount of money in the world.
