IT IS GOD’S LOVE What is it that keeps us together? It is God’s love that binds us. Why do we get along as we do? It is God’s love always forgiving. When I feel down like the weather, It is God’s love encouraging me. When my flesh cries out for a touch, It is God’s love that quiets me. When all around don’t see my pain, It is God’s love healing my heart. Why...
My eldest son, Steven, had his first child in February. We are overjoyed with this newest member. My son is an artist, musician and now teaching in Phoenix. His work is well known and has earned a wonderful reputation as a native artist. His son is now two months old and I wished I was closer so I could babysit him. He is so cute. Terry and I have been managing a mobile home park since...
Many years I sat down to write my goals for the year and resolutions. The word resolution by definition means to resolve something like a problem or it’s a decision to do something, something that hasn’t been done before. I also could mean determination, a firmness of mind or purpose, an answer to a problem. Well, although I can’t solve the world’s problems, I can determine to make...

For the Obama Inaugural address http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090120/ap_on_go_pr_wh/inauguration_obama_text . The world looks on and we now have our 44th President in a country that is considerably younger than the rest of the world. Yet, we are still the brave, the strong, the freedom loving people with dreams and goals, visions and hopes still waiting to be fulfilled. What should we be doing...
January 27, 2009 Yesterday, I had a hard time getting dressed. My neck and shoulder were in excruciating pain. I couldn't find any medicine to help so continued on my way to work. There, I expressed by hurt to my boss with the knowledge that this was caused by overuse last week stuffing envelopes. She recommend that I go to the hospital and we would file a claim with Workmen's Comp. I left not...
February 3, 2009 I received a letter from an Oakwood Press not too long ago with special letterhead, address, etc and reading the letter the person signing it said that one of my poems (which I think they found on Poemhunter.com) was picked to be in an anthology they were printing and they needed my permission. They also offered the book for $19.95. So, thinking this was a legitimate company, I...
This was written to my friends and family about a friend I met online. He is from Texas and in March came to visit me for almost a week. This last week, I met Terry King. I believe he is my soul mate if there is such a thing. We have a certain admiration for each other. We compliment each other and everything we have said to each other has only been filled with peace. I have some...

On the 4th, today, I spent time putting these pictures together from a mini tour north of St Michaels, Az. I took these pictures of beautiful Canyon de Chelly and Window Rock. The young people from Canada and Virginia, pastors Jody, Kim and Lois and Bishop Hutchinson all piled into three vehicles to make the rounds. The canyon is one of my favorites....
