Announcements for July 2008

Established in December 2007, the Florida Discount Drug Card can provide savings for Medicare beneficiaries who do not have prescription drug coverage or are in the Medicare prescription drug plan coverage “gap.” There is no enrollment fee and the card can be used at all participating pharmacies. For consumers 60 and older, there is no income limit. Potential savings range from 5% to 42% on virtually all brand and generic drugs

The Needs of Central Florida Elders and Caregivers

We need to know what you identify as the current and future needs in aging services for elders and caregivers in our area. If you live in Brevard, Orange, Osceola or Seminole Counties, you can help us by taking a few moments of your time to complete the "Needs Assessment of Elder Central Floridians," now available as an online survey. The survey is part of our annual planning process. This will help us with our planning and advocacy roles as an Area Agency on Aging. The survey is easy to complete and is confidential and anonymous.
