I am a Spiritual Counselor and have been counseling for over 40 years, 30 of which were with abused women. I recently authored the book My Journey to Peace with PTSD not only from the counselor's perspective, but from the victim as well. After a flashback of a 40-year suppressed rape, I went into therapy for a year. No one was more surprised than I when I discovered my self-esteem was as low as some of my clients. Placing myself on the same path as I place my clients, I experienced first hand the healing they went through using the methods I intuited for my clients many years ago.
I still counsel occasionally, but wish to teach how keeping pain and trauma within only serves to strengthen its hold on us. My non-profit will be putting on workshops to teach victims the tools they need to overcome their traumas, and that only through share does the pain lesson its hold on us.

I have an Italian husband of 43 years. We adopted one son, who gave us a grandson.
Education
I have several mini-degrees. Lacked a few hours for a bachelors in commerce when I discovered art. Left college and opened a studio. My works of Fiber Art are across the country and in the Virgin Islands. Received my herbal certification from the Wild Rose College of Natural Healing in Canada when we owned and operated an herb farm for 8 years, before my mother's death.
Goals
I'm still a work in progress. My mission remains the same as I continually to grow in the light of God (Guidance).
