My hometown, where I was born and raised, is Tarboro, NC. I have been in Asheboro 13 years. I have two children of my own and a stepdaughter. All are grown, all graduated from college and on their own. None are married and there are no grandchildren. I recently started to school full time in graphic design after being displaced from a company where I had worked over 33 years. Life is just beginning at 50+ and I am trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. LOL!! I am Queen of Crimson Dixie Belles, Red Hat Society Chapter 66520, in Asheboro, NC. We have a blast!! We are very active and stay on the go. I love every minute of it.
I volunteer for Muscular Dystrophy Association. I lost a brother and a sister to this disease within the last 2 years; therefore, it is near and dear to my heart.
