DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE 09 CONVENTION IS BEING HELD???

    The 2009 convention will be in Dallas, Texas.

    I heard it was going to be in Grapevine, TX..  I think it is already posted on redhatsociety.com

    I am the Queen of the Red Hat Hotties of the Villages  Fl. 32162 (Chapter 28747 ). I fell  before the Orlando Convention and could not atend because I broke my leg. Since the Red Hat Organization in California does not offer us cancellation insurance I did not get my money back. They will give it back to me if I get another Red Hatter that is going to the Dallas convention or the Atantla Convention to tell me their name and I call Hat Quaters. They will then credit that person with my convention money and that Hatter would give me a check for the convention amount. If you find out that any one from any chapter is going to any convention please Help out another RED HAT SISTER and let me know .     Brenda,

    Have you posted your delima concerning the Orlando Convention and the Grapevine Convention next year on the RHS Queen Mother Board?  I bet if you do, you'll be more apt to get a taker as there are not many red hatters on the GB website compared to what there is on the official RHS website.

    I would be happy to take you up on your offier, but personally, I find the registration fee for National Convention to be way overpriced for what you get.  I also think the room rates are high, plus there is a $12/day parking fee.  Someone could easily spend upwards of $1200-$2000 to attend Convention.

    Anyway, try posting your request on the RHS QMB.
