What Chapter and Where.

I think it would be a great idea to have each lady that joins this group to let us know what Chapter you belong to and where your located.  I'll start if off.  I'm with the Mayberry Madhatters of Mount Airy, NC.

I am Queen of the Belles of the 'Boro from a small town in Georgia, also Queen of the Ixies which is a group of four within the Belles'.  The Ixies like to take part in events hosted by other chapters and attend small conventions, whereas some of the Belles would rather just go out to eat locally.  We are known as the "Fun Group" because we just always have silly fun wherever we go.  This is our fifth year in Red Hatting and I've loved every minute of it....just wish I had MORE time to spend with it.

I'm also a member of the Southern Sisters Fab 50; My Friends, Red Hatter Chatter, and LooneyLadies.

We (several from around the state of Georgia) are planning to gather at Lanes Peach Packing Plant in Ft. Valley, GA. for July 26 and have a Flip Flop Parade around the parking lot.  Everyone will be wearing wild and wacky flip-flops and we will march around the parking lot playing our kazoos.  We hope to get one of the staff in the restaurant or maybe a tourist to judge the flip-flops

Jaw-ja peaches are the best and they will be just right by July 26.  The restaurant has ablsolutely THE best peach cobbler and homemade peach ice cream I've ever tasted!  This will be our fourth annual trek to Lane's.  Last year we had a water melon seed-spitting contest.  Queen Betty Bear who hosts the Southeast Georgia Red Hat convention each year brought her water pistol and was ambushing every one...this led to a water gun battle at the 2008 Red Hat Family Reunion at Jekyll Island Georgia in May.  We chose up sides: Grapes vs. Cherries and battled  it out!   We had planned this all year on our GABB (Georgia Red Hat Forum) What a hoot!  So, one fun thing leads to another and another and another......hee hee

I am the Queen of The Wild Huckleberries from the deepppppppp south part of GA.  I have been Red Hatting for a little over 2 years now and I LOVE IT.   I am also a member of The GA RED HOT Flashers, Southern Court of Queens, GABB, QMB1, QMB2, Red Hatter Chatter, Circle of Friends, The Red Hat Friends, and now the GB.  WOW!! And I have met so many Red Hat Sistahs, that I can't even keep up with them.  I wish I had a journal from day one of my journey in the Red Hat's.  It has saved my life!  I give God all the honor and glory.  I am Friends of the Ixie Gulls and Trixie there that just told about her chapter and where she was from.  Them GULLS are a hoot.  I really do love it here and I hope to gain many more Red Hat Sistahs.  Oh here is the latest picture of the Wild Huckleberries--we were taking a press tour of our local newspaper company...and that's me aggravating the blue ink man.

    Hi Trixie,
I hope you will post some pictures here after your Flip Flop Parade.  Sounds like a lot of fun.
I've had some of those Jaw-ja peaches and they are wonderful and I also made a great peach cobbler.

A tip of the Red Hat to ya,

    Hi y'all~

I am the Vice Queen of the Sweet Teas in Miami & have been a Red Hatter for 2 fun-filled years.  Our chapter likes to do various things - horse races, trips to the zoo or historical sites, lunches, etc.  I will be relocating to Jacksonville, FL in the near future and may already have met my "new" Red Hat sisters at the convention in Orlando.  God put at a table with several delightful ladies from JAX so I think I am good to go!  Just another sign that JAX is where I am supposed to be.

I look forward to learning more about each of you and seeing lots of pictures.

    Greeting!

I am a member of the Havin' Fun Bunch now after being a member of several other chapters.  It is in Sacramento, CA.  They don't do the lunch thing, unless it is incorporated into another event like horse racing or a play.  I have been a member of the Red Hat Society since 2001, but I haven't been to any of the conventions, although my husband and I did go on their first cruise out of New Orleans.

I would post a pic if I knew how to do it??

    Jackie

Hello, I am Ladydi.  I am Vice-Queen of the Belles Of The 'Boro and of the Moanin Ixie Gulls.  Queen Trixie and I are in the same Chapters, our other two Ixie Sistahs will be joining us soon on this board.    I hope to meet a lot of new Red Hatters here.  I have been Red Hatting for about 2 years now. However, I didn't really know what Red Hatting was until I joined the Belles and then became an Ixie Gull. Wherever we go, whatever we do, we always have a blast and enjoy the company of other Sistahs.
