Hi,

I'm looking for a group that is close to Disney World, Kissimmee as I will be there between 18 - 26 Oct and thought it would be nice to get together with my Americian Sisters! Anyone available?

Hello, I am Queen Late Bloomer.  Our chapter is four years old, we are the Red Hats In The Sunset from Minneapolis, MN.

We are a small group, I have known most of the present ladies for years.

Welcome Late Bloomer.  I looked at your GB profile.
How nice that you, your mother, and your daughter live together!

I am very disappointed that no one had gotten back to me when I visited the States. I didn't think that was very neighbourly!

The RHS in the States is not leaving a very good impression on the lady's in Canada!

Hi Red Hatters!

As you can see, Growing Bolder has removed an entry in this forum that we considered spam. If you ever see anything posted that you feel is inappropriate, please feel free to report it, and we'll make sure to evaluate it and take the appropriate measures.

Thanks!

Hi PinkyPoo...

I will post this message in pink in honor of your Pink-hattedness  =)

I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to make a connection with any members of the Red Hat Society during your trip to Florida the end of October.  One of the issues on the Growing Bolder website is that almost all the groups are not especially active with postings.  If you click on FORUMS regularly like I try to do, you will notice that sometime weeks and even months go by without any activity in certain groups.

As I mentioned to you in a private message to your GB Inbox, the official Red Hat Society website would have been the ideal place to focus your search for a connection.  This is just my personal suggestion, but if * I * had plans to go anywhere and wanted to connect with some Red and Pink Hatters, I probably would have taken some time to contact each RHS lady on the Growing Bolder website through a private message to their inbox.  Maybe you did do this; but of course, I'd have no way of knowing.  Yes, that would take time and effort, but depending on how much I wanted to connect, it would be worth the time involved.

Here's * my * promise to you PinkyPoo, if you ever plan to be in or near the state of Connecticut, I will make every effort to get together with you for some Red and Pink Hat fun if you'd like to connect with me.

Do you belong to a chapter in Canada?  If so, how many women are in your group?  Were you a member of the Red Hat Society when they had a regional convention at Niagra Falls in Canada?  I * really * would have loved to go to the Niagra Falls convention, but it was too soon after the Boston Tea Party Convention for my pocketbook.  I know that all the women who attended the convention at Niagra Falls had a GREAT time--both those from Canada and the United States.

Please share with us some of the fun stuff you do locally with your Red Hat friends.  I'd really like to hear about some of the activities you enjoy with them; and if you have any pictures, please let me know if you post them to your profile photo albums because I * love * looking at pictures =)

In Red Hat Friendship,

Debbie

OOPS... Sorry...  I thought I was posting pink print on a purple background.  I did not mean to post pink print on a white background.  I hope it's not too difficult for anyone to read.  I can't seem to edit the post at this time.

PinkyPoo~

I, too, am sorry that you were unable to connect with Red Hatters while you were in Orlando.  As you can see, this website is not exclusive to Red Hatters and many of us do not log on regularly.  I just relocated to the Jacksonville, FL area and would be delighted to meet you if you give us another chance and visit this area of Florida.  I have met other Red Hatters who contacted my chapter thru the RHS website.  I hope you had a wonderful visit even if you didn't connect with any of your sisters.

If you had been in the Orlando area this past June, you would have been inundated with Red Hatters...... approximately 2,500 of us attended the National Convention and it was awesome.  What a wonderful group of funloving women.

Funigal
