Hello, my name is Adam Zehr. I am a Network Administrator at a K-12 School District and work as a web developer as a second profession.
I joined Growing Bolder after receiving an email from my cousin Lucas who is married to Katie Widrick, a staff member. I have really enjoyed this concept and love the content, look and feel of the site.
I am a World ranked powerlifter competing in bench press competitions. I have traveled all over the country and have met alot of great people. I am taking a break from this for a couple months while I work on some other projects. It also helps me to take some time off from time to time, let my body heal up and then start again. Every time I have taken a break and started lifting again, I have made positive gains.
I am currently in process of developing a local sports site called NNYSports.com to post media content from local sports, mainly high school events. We have an army base - Fort Drum located in our area and with so many student athletes with family all over the US and the World, I wanted a way to deliver game footage to these people.

I have a wonderful grilfriend named Melissa, who I have lived with for the past year. We have a great relationship and are really good friends who love to spend time together. We enjoy alot of the same activities which makes it really easy to get along. I live within 5 minutes of my mom and dad and about 2 minutes from my sister LeeAnne. I love having my family so close to me, and although with my busy schedule I hang out with them as much as possible. My other sister Emma lives in Syracuse, which is about an hour and a half away, but she visits often and her and her boyfriend Keith (who coincidently enough was good friends with Luke and Katie Widrick in college and met Emma at their wedding) stay with my parents when they are home.
Goals
1. Develop my internet company and make it profitable so that I can work for myself part time and on my own schedule. 2. Start lifting again and become succesful in another weight class. I was competing at 132lbs and I want to go up to the 148lb class and have success.
