Just another WordPress site

I can write this now, but I may not me able to later or on another day.
Sam was the first Boston Terrier I ever had and not only did I fall in love with the breed I found I loved him more than life.
On January 17th, 2007 he was having some trouble breathing around 430 in the afternoon. I called my vet and got a message to call the emergency clinic, which is around a 45 minute drive from my house. I had been going to him long enough that I felt comfortable calling him at home.
His wife answered and told me I would have to take him to the e-clinic even though I told her he wouldn't make it that far.
I ended up finding a very good vet that helped him so that his breathing was almost normal. She told me to bring him first thing in the morning and we'd get him in LSU. I could tell that she did not feel he was going to make it that long, but there was nothing else to do.
I woke up at midnight and found him laying on the floor and I held him for 15 minutes, which was when he took his last breath.

I guess there is a word limit so I'll make this short. Sam is now a resident of Rainbows Bridge and if anyone would like to sign his guest book here is the information.
www.rainbowsbridge.com and go to the visitors area. Put Sam in the name box and 70726 in the zip code box and it should bring you to hi.

So sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you. I had to put down my female Golden Retriever a few years back and I went in with her when they did the deed. Cried like a baby. She was my baby. Now I have Jack. A 120lb. chocolate Lab that I found running loose on a gravel road and I also have 2 cats that I found after they had been dumped in the country. Put an add in the paper but no answer. People can be very very cruel. Jack is about 7 now and stating to slow down already. Hate the thought of losing him but have reassured myself that I provided a decent life for him and gave him all the love he could handle.
Rest assured that the love and companionship you provided will not be forgoten and not go unrewarded. I might advise you to consider adopting another pet. Makes all the difference. Lots of homeless animals out there just waiting for a loving person like you to care for them. Peace.
