InterestsTravel, health, fitness, nutrition, baseball (Red Sox!), watching golf on TV or attending a golf tournament or just driving Mark around the course while he plays. Spending time with my family. Going out to enjoy a fine meal and some great wine!
BooksThe Chronicles of Narnia - my favorite since childhood.
FoodsMy healthy favorites; breakfast is an egg-white omelette with sauteed mushrooms and a cup of cooked rolled oats with blueberries. Lunch is usually cottage cheese (Friendship brand is the best!) My favorite healthy dinner is grilled salmon, steamed asparagus and sweet potato "oven fries". Guilty pleasures - Ben and Jerry's ice cream (any flavor that includes chocolate!), hand-crafted beer from the Orlando Brewing Company, bang-bang shrimp appetizer from BoneFish along with a glass of their fresh-made red sangria. YUM! Oh, and salted peanuts in the shell with a Corona at any sporting event.

Posted 3:17 pm December 13th, 2007I'm all caught up. Did you like Luke's version of hell? Too funny! So, is Coop the killer or are the just trying to make us think that he is?!
Hey, did you see the video in today's Insider? What do you think?

Posted 11:49 am December 3rd, 2007Ha! Somehow I feel like my rep as a well-read and cultured person lowers a bit too when I watch GH, but oh well, I'll take that risk. I got out of the habit for years, but then TiVo was born. And well, it's just too easy to NOT tape it now, you know? I can fast forward through all the annoying Sonny/Kate/Georgie/Spinelli, etc. scenes and just get to the Jason and Elizabeth ones!
Good call on the annoying Sonny/Carly ticks. I get so tired of Carly saying "my boys." OK, we get it, you have two boys!
The best part of the funeral was the return of the classic soap opera montage. They don't do enough of them anymore. C'mon, you have DECADES of archival footage, mostly with the same actors. use it!
And why do all Quartermaines come back from the dead to converse with their loved ones? Edward did it back in the day with Lila (but wait, then he really wasn't dead), Alan has been doing it, and now Emily! Geez!
