Ricky King
My name is Ricky Sylvia. “Ricky King” is my alter ego. It is what happens when I put on the Elvis jumpsuit. I have been an Elvis fan for as long as I can remember. I saw him on TV the first time on his ‘68 Comeback Special when I was 5 years old. I started singing his songs in my first band at age 11, saw him in concert in 1977 when I was 13, and went to his funeral in Memphis later that same year with my friend Celeste. She is a lifelong Elvis fan and has been coming to my shows since I was a kid. After hanging up my jumpsuit in 1993, I have recently “revived” my tribute to the greatest entertainer the world has ever known. I was inspired by Celeste’s 80th birthday party on 8/8/08 to sing a set of Elvis songs for her, and the “Ricky King” show was born on that night.
White “Aloha” jumpsuit from jumpsuits-fit-for-a-king.com : $2,000.00

Ricky Sylvia
Ricky's career in show business began at the tender age of 11. Thirty years, thousands of shows and countless miles later, the jovial front man commands the stage with a presence stronger than ever. His unbridled energy and enthusiasm clearly shows his passion for performing. His sound-alike voices, Elvis, Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger, Billy Joel, Rodney Dangerfield, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Marlon Brando, just to name a few, have been heard on radio, seen on television and enjoyed live in corporate event productions across the nation. Ricky is the proud husband of Kara and father of Tricia, Jack and Albert. When asked what keeps him in the music business, Ricky has an answer that fits right in with Growing Bolder... "After 30 years at this I still LOVE what I do. I once heard it said, 'Do what you love and you'll always love what you do.'"

Posted 9:18am September 4th, 2009Enya, be assured the voice you hear is Ricky Sylvia as Ricky King. Yes, he's that good! And to make you feel even better, he is as enthusiastic, respectful and honored to keep the memory of Elvis alive as is appears. You will not find a more humble, caring, funny and inspiring person to be around! Ricky is the REAL DEAL!
