I'm a LifeStory Designer

I'm a LIFESTORY DESIGNER. I create beautiful visual stories w/photos, videos, music & words. My world was all about my husband, Tark for the last 3 years. I took care of him while he was ill. He died on July 29, 2010. MY HEART is Tark's home now. I celebrate his new life by creating Life Story creations about him and others. He had a charmed life and many stories to share with his family and friends.

So how did I become a LifeStory Designer? After spending many years in the healthcare and Internet Marketing industries, I decided to follow my passion of Digital Collage Artistry. I then became interested in video production and publishing PhotoBooks. Combining the three has resulted in a fun, exciting and memorable business. As a LifeStory Designer, I take your pictures, create a story with your pictures, add your content and walla! I'm always helping in the decision of which memories to capture in a Collage of pictures. Usually people believe creating a LifeStory is a real hassle. They enjoy my help in the selection/theme/story content.

Now I've joined with other Life Story Artists to design some pretty incredible life stories. These talented Artists each have their own business. We work together to design custom LifeStory Creations using YOUR pictures, personal stories and treasured items. We know everyone has a story to tell.

We've developed a FREE Community for Artists to learn from their peers about creating their own Life Story Designs.  Feel free to join the LifeStory Designers Community.

Do you believe it's been a year since "My Guy" Died?  Wow, how time flies
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
UPDATE:  ON JUL7 29, 2010, MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND DIED.

I'm married to a wonderful man, Tark (his real name is Chuck)  I married him 10 years ago.  Love is wonderful, the second time around.

He is in the end stages of liver disease, so I closed my gallery and moved it to my home.  I wanted to be his main caregiver and I love it.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  Although the doctors gave Tark only a year to live, he has now surpassed it.We've made some significant changes over the last year and he is actually improving to our delight.  A year ago, Tark was in a wheelchair, bleeding, sleeping all the time and not too coherent.

With the help of some great friends, therapists, health care professionals and of course, my wonderful & loving care, we've turned it all around.  Now, Tark can walk with a walker for short distances.  He's not bleeding, his color is back and his hair is growing stronger and shiner.  Miracle?  We believe it is.We believe it's from holistic, alternative therapies, positive thinking, EFT, meditation, prayer, a healthy lifestyle (healthy eating and exercise)  and yes, many caring, thoughtful, friends and family who bring sunshine to our lives every day.We make certain we laugh, love and have fun every day.

We are sincerely grateful for every day of our lives.

Tark was a Fighter Pilot in the Air Force.  He loves to talk about flying.  He watches EVERY movie/history/documentary on the military or flying.  He flew an F80.

I have 2 stepdaughters, 1 stepson, 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.  They all live in Chicago, so we don't get to see them very often but we use Skype quite often to stay in contact with not only them, but our entire family and friends.

And then speaking of our friends
. This saying sums up my feeling about our wonderful, spiritual, devoted friends.

Friends are those rare people who ask how we are and then wait to hear the answer. Do not save your loving speeches for your friends till they are dead; Do not write them on their tombstones, speak them rather now instead. A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature. The only way to have friends is to be one. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same. A friend is one who knows us, but loves us anyway.

There is nothing better than the encouragement of a good friend.

Education

Goals

I believe my life is now a demonstration of what it means to walk the high ground, to seek the grander choice, to speak a gentler word, and to live in positive awareness of the inherent goodness in every person and situation. My goal is to continue to be grateful and aware of the goodness in my life.
