I was born in SoCal (San Gabriel) in '44. Grew up loving cars, 'hot rods' and drawing. Went to Pasadena Art Academy. Joined the Army in '63 to miss Vietnam, which I did and then started my art as a jeweller in a shop at Port 'o Call in San Pedro. Owned a couple more business up until I went back to work for the U.S. post office, when I moved to the Ft. Worth area in TX.

Have you picked up the Australian accent yet? My husband is an auto enthusiast too, He was a Fighter Pilot in the Air Force and LOVES to talk about flying. . .

Thanks. It was my main car until 8 years ago, but need to let her go....it's been hard. I grew up in Torrance, been in Austin area for 30 years now.

I now live in Australia with my high school sweetheart whom I got reconnected with over the internet. Southeast Queensland weather is much like SoCal most of the time, so that wasn't a learning curve.

Education

I went to 1st Lutheran grammar school in Alhambra, CA. then Luthern High School in L.A. and graduated in '62. When I got out of the Army I attended Harbor City College, then Long Beach State and worked for the U.S. post office also.

To enjoy my retirement and family.

Anything to do with cars, from racing, watching racing, car shows, to watching car anything on TV. Using the web to keep up with friends in the States & searching the web for new things.

Books

Haven't been reading much in the last few years but I like biography and mystery books.

Foods

Mexican, Italian & Asian. But I really miss Mexican, living in Queensland where they don't really have GOOD Mexican food, some not bad but still miss the real thing!

Blue's, Jazz, early Rock 'n Roll, Folk, World Music and Country!

Movies

My favorite movie of all time is, 'Mr. Lucky' with Cary grant & Loraine Day. 2001/2010, Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal, Apocalypse Now and most good Westerns.

NCIS, Criminal Minds, Dexter, Whale Wars, Ice Road Trucker, the View.
