Who is that smart dog anointing the Bush poster?  Annie, your posts are so funny!  Now, I'm with you on "what the heck"???   Why has your cat moved into your photo space when you weren't looking?  This larger print in for me and not insinuating that you need to change your glasses.

I'm attempting to paint a watercolor landscape.  Bad idea.  Sorta lost my touch and my right index finger keeps locking and pointing in another direction.  Probably to the refrigerator!

Oh Good Grief!!!   I came over *here* to do something but totally forgot what it was I needed to check when I spotted *JCB's* comment below.   In other words I made a great start...again...by confirming myself as a new friend to JCB, (who, from now on I will call "Jackie")  on HER page, then lurched over here and found her here.   And so on and so on, ad infinitum.

Is it just me?  [Ed.] Who else, Dummy!  ---  I need to have more time (after the wedding)  to figure out how to navigate thru the maze the webmaster[s] created when they put this site together.   I published my first "weblog" (that's what we called it)  around January 2001 when it was, literally, all new and shiny and only a few bright young men around the country were the GO-TO guys who came up with all sorts of innovative ideas.....for people communicating with other people.   And look at us now.

Shoot!!  There I go again.  I have this awful habit of pontificating and NOT staying on subject.   So I will stop now.   Jackie, thank you for your interest, I hope more people will drop by,  I have been an advocate for our precious furry kids for about 35 years.    Which reminds me.   Why do I go to the trouble of assigning comments under my pictures ("media") when I'm looking to my left right now and just see a quickie slide show of the picture and no caption??  Gee Whiz,  there's always something to puzzle out!!

Oh, Annie, now you've made me cry, but I have found someone who understands my love of animals and would like to help you take action against those who would be cruel.  Of course I read your discussion article.  I cannot abide animal cruelty, and was so thankful to see our government take action against dog fighting and imprison Michael Vick.  How can he even hold his head up?   I do not like dog racing, horse racing,  cock fighting nor anything related, and I cannot put a piece of flesh into my mouth so of course, am a vegetarian.  Now I am 74, but when in kindergarten, I saw a poor cat that had its tongue stuck in a tuna can.  Of course it ran, and I couldn't help him, but I have never forgotten that scene nor the terrible truth of bull fighting.  Taught in Spain for 2 years, attended a bull fight and literally screamed throughout.  It's horrible that the vocal chords of the picador's horses have been cut so we can't hear their silent screams.  What can we do Annie???    JCB (Jackie)
