Not sure what I am doing but here I go!. Just your ordinary everyday Canadian. Born and raised in eastern Ontario. Married a man from northern Ont. Had 4 children, all of whom are on their own, some with offspring. Some of those ofspring are born of an Inuit mother. Thus, they are quiet but still have a childish demeanor. Am div. Am quite involved in community affairs. Have always been since I was in Brownies, Girl Guides and up. As a teen, was a lifeguard at local swimming pool close to our home.
Have lived in Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, South Porcupine, all in Ont., then Lynn Lake, Man. and now Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.
Favourite group I belong with and I am leader is our chapter called DAZZLING DIAMOND DIVAS of the Red Hat Society, first chapter in the NWT. There is a second one in Hay River. I insisted on having diamonds in name since our city is known as the Diamond Capital of N. America. North of the city (not far but one has to fly in) are 3 diamond mines and I read recently there is to be a fourth one. Takes time to get one up and going so I am thinking the operators know what they are doing considering the present economic climate. Those diamonds are sure beautiful though. Heard it said Belgium ranks our diamonds the most beautiful.
Am most ordinary I believe . Can't think of any remarkable feats on my part. Maybe friends and family could. My viewpoint to living is get up in the morning, do the BEST you can and go to bed at night. Darn simple, if you ask me. LOL
