I'm a person who doesn't want for much, a roof over my head, food, quiet, and the company of others, online, or in person.
Born on Long Island, NY to an emigrant Italian father and a mother from South Philly, a large portion of life was spent in fear: anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia, until I learned, Change a thought, Change your life. I don't look forward anymore because I know life will change in the blink of an eye. You think you know where your life is headed, then POW you're knocked off that solid peace of ground you thought you were on. I've learned to hope for the best and to prepare for the worst.

Posted 7:18pm July 11th, 2009Rose, I have noticed your beautiful, strong but kind face on other sites, and now I have been priviledged to read your touching words and your thoughts for enjoying life. Life can change in the blink of an eye, and I have experienced disappointment, fear, and above all, loneliness by planning too far ahead or counting on "what is" today will be here tomorrow. You have my understanding, empathy and love. Hopefully, I can follow your lead and enjoy the moment or moments. I see that you are an author and would like to know more about your novels, the themes, and where I might purchase. Basically, I am an artist but like to dabble in writing.
