i am a very young 64 year old married grandmother. WOW! that's a lot of responsability. i have been married for almost 40 years and have 4 grown children, and 4 very precious grandchildren. i have a huge! yard full of beautiful flowers and exotic plants, not to mention birds, fish, and other critters that i enjoy feeding and watching.
i love to go to the beach with my husband and shopping is my favorite hobbie! i love starbucks coffee, chocolate, and mexican food.

People I'd like to meet
i have 4 grown children, 3 girls and 1 son. all of the girls are married and my son is still a free agent! 2 of my daughters have children, (my pride and joy) 2 teens, a boy and a girl and 2 little guys ages 6 and 9. my husband and i have been married for 40 years and plan on at least another 40! both of my parents have long past away, but i am told that i am very much like my dad! not sure if that's a good thing or not. i also have a brother and sister who live in another state so i don't get to see them much.
Education
i graduated high school and did about 2 years of college before i decided to raise a family. i also have gotten FNGA certification in florida. which means i am a certified nursery grower in the state of florida. i have worked for a large retail company for the past 18 years as a certified nursery buyer. i purchase and care for all plant material in my dept. and am on hand with much knowledge for my customers!
Goals
at my age my main goal is to stay healthy and active. after that i would like to do some traveling maybe to australia, and other far away places.
People I'd like to meet
i would like to meet anyone who is sincere and honest. who desires to share intrests and thoughts of the future. also anyone who would like to debate politics on either side of the table. ie. republican or demacrat. thoughts about our grandchildren, and their futures are also much appreciated.

Posted 10:38pm April 14th, 2008Hello. I am a very active 61-year-old female who has two grown children, a son and a daughter, who have turned out to be great people. I have 5 wonderful grandchildren - 2 boys and 3 girls, and I am very involved in their lives. I am a native Floridian, born in Lake City, but I grew up in the Cocoa Beach area. I have lived in Alabama for over 24 years. I love to garden and have plants all over my house. I'm also into Starbucks coffee and chocolate! I am retired from fulltime work last year, but I teach English partime at the University of Alabama, Huntsville campus, and I own a small proposal consulting company.
I like to debate politics, and correspond with others in general about life in general. It would be great to hear from you.
