    Question

I posted my first blog and it included a letter you need to send out to your reps reguarding illegal immigration.  We the people need to be proactive, vote, get others involved, accept personal responsibility, insist the government not pass laws because we are too stupid to manage our credit, or finances, etc.

    Question

I can think of many problems of equal urgency.  But first, it is my opinion that discipline should top the list.  Discipline should be taught (I do not mean "taught" as "in teaching") at the early ages at the home and school levels.  Discipline, in every sense of the word, is the root, firmly embedded, supporting the spread-out branches.   How do we start a discipline like discipline? I will take some time off here and join in later after having read some follow-ups.

    Question

Education in the US.  There has been a significant "dumbing down" in this nation.  Educated folks can make responsible desicions.   They are not as apt to fall for Ideologies.

    Question

If I could fix anything in this country, I would fix our broken healthcare system. It's ashame that our country spends billions of dollars everyday fighting wars but we just
can't figure out how to provide decent healthcare for American citizens. Other countries
    do it,why can't we ?

    Question

Yes, discipline is of utmost importance in any society.  We, humans, have been endowed with reason so much so that we abuse this god-given privilege from day one.  Enforcement (I use this word because I cannot find another appropriate one) of discipline must start from baby-hood - responsibility of the parents - and through childhood both at home and at school by the teachers. Here "school" covers college as well.  I remember as a growing-up child, if I am disciplined at school for any reason, I will be further disciplined by my parents for allowing myself to get into a situation where I had to be disciplined at school.  I may be wrong to say this, but it is my experience, both as a social worker among junior high students and also as a college student myself, that discipline is s"unenforceable" for a number of reasons, mostly for fear of repercussions.   In this situation where are we?.  Is it possible to start with parents or can we enshrine a code of conduct or discipline in the society as a whole?  We have the means to communicate today in untold ways.  Facebook, Twitter the TV and Radio are all means of communication used today to spread news, messages and so on and so forth and to bring us, humans, together.

    Question

To fix the biggest problem we have in America, which is our numb-nuts in Washington DC, we should do what Shakespeare advises:  "We should first kill all the lawyers"   Then I suggest we put a contract out on the remainder of them.

    Question

Mousetrap.  You are so the right track here that it should all be in capital letters.  Isn't that screaming on the internet?   Well it needs to be scremed to wake up the sheep!
