Pat Bond became a serious athlete in her 40s and she says it changed her life for the better in countless ways. 

In 1999, she was named the Florida Senior Athlete of the Year and she's been going strong ever since. 

Now 68, the swimmer and cyclist says she can't wait until her 70th birthday so that she can move up an age group in her various competitions.
