I want to give you some information on the founders of Then2Now. Larry E. Hicks Sr. is the founder along with Rick Cardona, both from Deltona Florida. Larry Hicks featured at the left of this screen in the middle of the picture. Larry is the front-man for Then2Now Larry has been involed in music just about all his life. Then2Now was founded in 1996 and has had several changes with band members.
Though the brainstorm of Larry Hicks who is the former front-man for The Motor City band from Meriden, CT., Rick was very instrumental in recruiting the right players. In
2002 Rick moved to Tampa, but Larry and the Boys continue to bring the party to you. Our motto is "entertain everyone to the fullest". Since the onset Then2Now has
become a powerhouse in the Central Florida music scene, capturing the hearts and imaginations of most that come to see them perform. Some of the venues played are as follows: Church Street Station (Orlando), Mel's Diner (Titusville), Wolfy's On the Water (Sanford), Gina's LakeSide Grille (Altamonte Springs) and Inlet Harbor Marina & Restaurant (Ponce Inlet) along with a host of Weddings, Fundraisers, Corporate and Private functions. Although they can play just about anything requested, their specialty is R & B, Soul and Funk, old school like it should be. Their roster is as follows: Larry E. Hicks Sr. (lead & Background Vocals, Alto Sax, Latin Percussion), Jamal Gurcay (Bass, Keyboards, Lead & Background Vocals), Brian David (Drums, Lead & Background Vocals), Buddy Kays (Saxophones, Background Vocals) and Reggie Calhoun (Guitar, Bass, Lead & Background Vocals) and myself Nikki Hicks (Public Relations). This Band is a MUST SEE, consisting of a group of excellent musicians and a dynamic front man hell-bent on entertaining everyone. Come on out and let the Boys entertain you!
