My wife, Marti, and I relocated to Central Florida in February, 2007, in large part to escape the hurricanes we experienced living on the Gulf Coast in Fort Walton Beach. We went through 6 storms in 12 years there. Surprise! The day we were to move into our new home we got hit by a tornado. It took nearly 6 months to get back to normal.
I am a former Navy pilot, flight instructor and management consultant. My primary leisure activities include tennis, fishing and swimming. Marti is trying to teach me how to play bridge and together we are learning how to line dance. We recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of our marriage.
We enjoy frequent visits with our daughter and her family. They live in Jacksonville and have two sons who play summer baseball with the Leesburg Lightning and a daughter who teaches in the Orange County Public Schools. Our son and his family live in Mississippi, near Memphis.
