Hunter Kemper is the most decorated triathlete in US history and overcame all odds to make his 4th Olympic team at the age of 36.
Hunter crashed while riding his bike at 30 miles per hour in a race in late 2011. The crash broke Hunter’s elbow, requiring 13 screws, five operations and extended IV treatment for an infection. He was unable to practice and couldn’t compete for 7 months before his one and only shot to make the 2012 Olympic Team.
But he stunned even himself beating every American in an Olympic qualifier to earn a trip to London.
This time he'll be competing for more than his country and himself. He reveals how the birth of his own child inspired him to make a difference in the lives of other children.
