Posted 5:35pm March 8th, 2009What an inspiration this woman was and is, even in death. I'm sorry that, of all the healthcare facilities in which I've performed over the years, I did not visit Lutheran Towers and get the opportunity to meet her. I would have loved to have met her. There aren't many people who can say they've lived in 3 different centuries!
Thank you, Growing Bolder, for bringing this phenomenal woman into our homes and hearts. Without this site so many people would never have known about her. She's definitely a 'most unforgettable character', even for those who never met her.

Posted 9:31pm September 27th, 2008I viewed everything in Ruth's media file this evening. She was an amazing woman. One of Ruth's favorite words was "wonderful". It also happens to be one of my favorite words. It would have been wonderful to have met Ruth in person and had the opportunity to talk with her. I'm looking forward to reading everything Growing Bolder has in print format and audio on the extraordinary Ruth Hamilton.
