I guess I'm sort of a throw back to the hippie "love generation!" I love music, art, theater, sailing, live concerts, and nature. Anyway, I'm all about love, so, if you can relate to this way of thinking and you are familiar with a place called "frilly la la land" give me a shout!!!

ADVICE: Home Renovating
As you may have noticed in my status from time to time, I have been renovating my house for the past several months. I have advice for everyone who is looking to renovate...if you are doing more than one room, DO NOT live in the house during the process!...

My family includes my parents, one brother and one sister, their spouses (my sister-in-law rocks!) and my 4 nephews. I also have an extended family of friends. They are the family you get to pick, after all. I have a wonderful goddaughter and her parents are two of my closest peeps!!! I also have what seems to be the makings of a very special relationship with a totally wonderful man. Stay tuned on that one!
Education
I have some college credits to my name. I attended USF for a while and then I transferred to The University of Florida (GO GATORS!!!) but, alas, never graduated. I had a great time though!!! LOL 
Goals
My goal is to find inner peace. I'd also love to change the world, but it's going to take more than just me to do it!!! Let me know if you want to help!
People I'd like to meet
Honest, cool, intelligent, fun and exciting people. I'd like to find a man who can prove to me that he's not a guy!!! If you don't know the difference between a guy and a man, then, you must be a guy, so you need not apply!!! I don't play games, and I can spot a player a mile away. I like men who aren't afraid to be goofy, but know when to act like a grown up too!!! My main thing is love and laughter, so a smart and quick sense of humor is a must! (I think I may have found my goofy, wonderful man!!!)

I'd have to say my hero of 2007 is my friend Todd. He has been both a wonderful friend and an inspiration to me. I'll be going to visit him in Arkansas and he'll be doing the video of my first skydive (and maybe my second one too!!!) Oh yeah, and after that I'm going to get him on his first sailboat!!! I have entitled this slideshow, "Living life to the max!"

I am currently eating healthy and losing that "extra baggage" I have. I love sushi!!! I am basically a carnivore! No chance of this girl becoming a vegan! Bring on the steak and baked potato, with a salad, of course!!!
Music
I love everything from John Denver to Godsmack! My favorite music is accoustic. David Crosby is my favorite musician of all time. I think he is brilliantly talented and touched by God!!! My favorite rock is from the early eighties -Journey to be precise! I just can't stand twangy country, rap of any kind, or opera!!! I love going to live concerts. I've been to about 80 of them. I was a music major in college. I sing and I play the guitar a little bit.

My favorite movies are Legends of the Fall, The Princess Bride, WHen Harry met Sally. anything by Mel Brooks, etc,,,,,I also love the Ocean's movies and Adam Sandler movies (except Little Nicky!) I was raised of old musicals too, so I'm kind of a nerd for those as well as good chick flicks!!!
Television
Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Smallville, and Friday Night Lights rock!!! I love American Idol, and Project Runway too! I try not to watch too much TV though.

Posted 8:07 pm February 18th, 2008hi joanna, havent heard from you in awhile how are you doing? hope everything is well with you.. have you heard of the laws of attraction or the secret? there is a lady in our group who teaches the law of attraction in comes in 10 modules she does not charge for it she is like you she wants to change the world by helping others she is also a talented writer. i really like the music on your site. have you had any more responses to your blogs? I miss seeing your blogs . let me know if you have any intrest in the laws of attraction give me you email and i will have her forward them to you if you are ever in the oviedo area i think you would find her to be an amazing person she has published a book on amazon and has it in barnes and noble. take care for now. your friend Harry
