Memorable Events Made All The Difference

What are some of your most unforgettable experiences? Maybe it was a party, something at school, an old girlfriend... What memories does your mind go back to when you think of the '70s?

The 70's were...amazing!  I went from a spoiled rotten kid to a dirt poor wife, then  a mom, then a single mom, then married again, another kid, another divorce!  I finally HAD to grow up--two little people were expecting someone to know what to do!  I went back to college, learned how to support us, and learned from those two little people that their needs were undeniably more important than mine.  Mistakes?  Oh, did I ever make mistakes!  Somehow, those wonderful kids grew up to be wonderful adults, and they're both married, both have two sons, and they sometimes tell me that now they understand so much of what they thought was just me being 'a mean mom.'  Nothing like having your own kids to help you understand that.   Foolish choices, someone watching out for me, lots of silly times with my babies...the 70's were very special.

Some young women in the late 1960s and early 1970s chose to go braless in public.
Lingerie stores probably hope the braless fad never returns =)
