What Were Your Favorite Songs? Groups?

Hey Everybody,

The Who!!  I loved Roger's hair.  I wonder if he still has it?  Great memories of concerts and songs.  Just hearing them immediately takes me back and makes me smile.  One of my personal favorites.....Squeeze Box

I just saw a documentary on The Who. Roger talked about how the only way disagreements were settled when he was a kid was through fistfights! He said that became a problem in the band! He admits it look years for his bandmates to convince him there were better ways to settle arguments. Between Daltrey, Townshend and Moon you couldn't have three more different people! I believe I'm one of the few who really loves Pete's solo stuff. My favorite album? All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes. Have you heard it? It's the one with Slit Skirts. Great boomer song!

You must listen to Nikhil mawkin--on You tube--the singer/musicain from Boston--whose group on Facebook is called mawkin and the Revival---he sings and performs to the beat of music of 60's and 70's--to keep the magic of those years alive--

You know what? We did what he suggested. I looked his son up on YouTube, and he is GREAT!!! He's an awesome Elvis singer, but he's a darn fine musician, too! Hey, Lalit, why don't you put a video or two of his up here so we can all check it out?

And if any of the rest of you know somebody in a band we should see, bring it on by and we'll all throw in our two cents worth!!!

Thanks--I am a proud father--though my son is struggling at Boston to make his mark but I know it takes time for people to recognize and comes a moment when you just take off--as a great artist--He has a passion for music--but melodious music and he finds music of 60's and 70's to be highly full of melody---
I shall find out a way to post his videos--
I am grateful for your appreciation--
