He's a true legend of stage and screen. He's won a Tony, an Oscar and hosted "Saturday Night Live" a half-dozen times. He's also had memorable roles in countless movies, including "The Deer Hunter," "Annie Hall," and "Pulp Fiction."

The subtle yet bombastic Christopher Walken talks to Growing Bolder about his latest project, "A Late Quartet." In this movie, he plays a cellist and the eldest member of a classical muscial ensemble that includes Philip Seymour Hoffman and Catherine Keener.

Christopher talks about the movie and why he was thrilled when this different and unexpected new part came along. As he prepares to turn 70, he explains how he's been able to avoid being typecast in Hollywood and how his history in musical theater still influences his career today.

Plus, find out whether he and his co-stars in "The Deer Hunter" had any sense that it was going to become the classic that it remains today.

He also shares the surprising piece of advice that he always offers to young actors. Here's a hint: it's something you, too, could do every single day to help you take care of yourself and be ready for the next opportunity to come along.
