I'm hale and hearty, have a great sense of humor, love life, satire and enjoy good company. I thrive on activities that involve both physical and intellectual energy, try to do weight training every day and usually ride my bicycle on the days that I can't get to the gym. I'm on the dance floor at least once and up to four times a week. I've been divorced for more than a dozen years after a 38 year marriage I've been heavily involved as a volunteer for the past 15 years, delivering Meals-on-wheels as much as three times a week for the two years I lived in Georgia and doing the same in Florida until recently; volunteered almost full time for over a year for the Senior Games here in Florida. Had to give up both of those activities because of the price of gas and the wear and tear on my wheels. In the past I've worked with Special Olympics, as well as for a non-profit organization that helped unemployed people. Currently doing disaster relief work for the Red Cross. Very fulfilling. People chide me for spending more time looking out for others than tending to my own financial interest, but I didn't seem to acquire the necessary gene that drives personal ambition and material wealth. I'd rather be doing what feels right and enjoying life, than working for money. I enjoy hard work and being busy, but am not driven to have THINGS. Both of my business ventures were initiated by my business partners. I probably mentioned that I'm in good health. It has been at least 30 years since I went to the doctor with any complaints. The last time I was in a hospital was in 1968 for hernia repair. I do go for regular checkups and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle and take medication to control my cholesterol. Why "ninelives" ?
