Haven't joined us at AgeOp yet? Why not? It's a great way to meet people from all over the world who are interested in lively discussions, hot topics and more. It's the 2009 version of the pen pal!

As always, this week's Age of Opportunity discussion became fast and furious, just moments after the chat officially started!

The participants chatted about everything from fitness to tea to their favorite grocery stores! But the discussion focused on these main topics:

  • Fitness and Healthcare: What are you doing to stay in shape? Where does it fall on your personal priority scale?
  • Michelle Obama's trip to London: What did you think of her meeting with the Queen? What about her fashion? What will her legacy be?
  • Relationships and Sex: Cloris Leachman has penned a tell-all book that gets very explicit when it comes to previous relationships. Would you dish on your past to make money? How old is too old to talk about taboos?
  • Travel: If money was no object, where would you go and why? Would you consider humanitarian travel during your retirement years?

We started by talking about fitness, and that led the room to talk about current goals and future plans!

Walking up and down stairs (@StarStrukLynna, @cindyoyo), long walks (@drkisane, @pplist, @OriginalLinDA, @Jaybezo, @daccarte), planning to start soon! (@Amykr, @cindyoyo)

Of course, we all need a little motiviation, right?

@marcmiddleton The best thing about exercise is that it reinforces itself. Tough to start but once you do, you crave it like a hot krispy kreme

Especially since we all have vices. Here a funny one, from one of the brave people who admitted theirs!

@gmarkham: vices: coffee, cigs, unfounded belief I will live forever.

Other vices included: Coffee, chocolate, TV, computer, Internet, Twitter, diet soda.

@marcmiddleton Coffee is not a drink. It's an experience. I'm sounding like an addict, aren't I.

When it comes to healthcare, everyone agreed that it's time to make taking care of ourselves a priority. But how best to do it?

@StarStrukLynna: Prevention is expensive ... includes good fresh food, clean water, safe housing ...

@FredFitnessGuy: Look at some countries that already have national health care. If you are not proactive with preventive things you are not covered.

@kmacwill At some point prevention crosses over to reaction, if we wait too long. That's when it gets really expensive

After a long talk about the role of the government in health care, fitness, prevention vs. care and more, the room moved from talking about President Obama to his wife Michelle, and her travel to London.

@pplist: I've felt proud at the way the Obamas have debuted on the world stage.

@Choonks: I think that Michelle was poised, charming and stylish ...

@daccarte: Michelle seems to speak from the heart. She does not sound scripted. That's what I like about the way she presents herself.

Words used to describe Michelle Obama? Beautiful, poised, graceful, kind. Those words were not used to describe the next celebrity topic: Cloris Leachman. In her 80s, the actress is now sharing intimate details about past relationships ... something the AgeOp room had conflicted feelings about.

@Amykr: I think that relationships should not be something you bank on. They should be cherished.

@cindyoyo: Don't you get to a certain age where your mistakes or bad decisions don't matter anymore? I saw ok as long as you don't hurt anyone.

@kmacwill @We're never too old to talk sex and relationships - we're sexual beings and we have relationships - that never stops

And we ended the night by sharing our travel dreams. Where would we go if money was no object? Answers included: Florence, Tuscan countryside, Galapagos, New Zealand, Florence, Cinque Terre, Hong Kong, Thailand, Greece, Russia, Alaska, South Africa, UK.
