Country music legend Mel Tillis has been entertaining audiences for more than 50 years.

In addition to recording more than 60 of his own albums, he has written over 1,000 songs, many of which were recorded by artists like Kenny Rogers and George Strait.

Mel talked to Growing Bolder about his legendary career and how music helped him overcome his stuttering problem.
