She entered graduate school in her 40s, got her doctorate just before turning 50 and did a post-doctoral fellowship in her 60s.
These days, Dr. Margery Silver is a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and she co-authored "Living to 100: Lessons in Living to Your Maximum Potential at Any Age."
