The girls of summer are giving the boys a run for their money.

Aileen Laing is the general manager and founder of the Village Vixens, a traveling softball team with women 55 and over.

The team, which is based in The Villages, has dominated the state of Florida and is looking to take on the rest of country.

Aileen talked to Growing Bolder about the highly skilled athletes on her team and the joys of camaraderie among the women as they travel around the country.
