Now, Brewer and the band are coming back with more hits and another tour. Three decades after their songs turned into hits and after becoming a grandfather, Brewer says his music has still remained popular.
Grand Funk Railroad, with its R&B foundation, paved the way for rock stars like Van Halen, Foreigner, Journey and Bon Jovi.
Brewer talks with Growing Bolder about the changes to his band and the music industry as well as his plans for the future.
