Growing Bolder Announces Second Season of The Growing Bolder TV Show

Swine flu, the stock market and job losses may be making news across the country, but millions of people are taking advantage of the tough times by not only reinventing themselves, but also motivating and inspiring others. They're not growing older; they're Growing Bolder, and now more than ever, there's a demand for stories for and about people who refuse to be defeated in their personal and professional lives.



The award-winning Growing Bolder Media Group and WMFE-TV (PBS) share a vision for showcasing the stories of men and women who smash stereotypes, promote lifelong learning, and act as role models for active lifestyle and healthy aging. The second season of The Growing Bolder TV Show, hosted by veteran journalists Marc Middleton and Bill Shafer, debuts on Sunday, May 3, and will continue to reflect a directional shift geared toward the 50+ audience, with segments and episodes that are inspirational, optimistic and life-affirming.



“We take our viewers to some of the most exciting events and locations in the country, and introduce them to people and places that are breaking new ground. It's cutting-edge, and our shows are fun, upbeat, and a real pleasure to produce,” says host Marc Middleton. “We believe that a well-told story bridges the generations, and we tell the stories that you won't find anywhere else in the media today.”



The Growing Bolder TV Show is hosted from a different location every week, and this season, the show travels to the world record-setting Skydivers Over Sixty parachute jump, the FX International Show and a national exhibit highlighting the work of Muppets creator Jim Henson. In addition, episodes this season are sponsored in part by Winter Park Urology and will include a series of Growing Bolder Tech Minutes, produced by Central Florida's Planet Digital, Inc.
