Billy Graham
Born November 7, 1918.

Evangelical Southern Baptist preacher who's been a spiritual adviser to many U.S. presidents and has been our leading religious revivalist for over 60 years. Author of 25 books, Graham has radio and television shows as well as a weekly column. Graham is regularly listed by Gallup as one of the "Ten Most Admired Men in the World." Now retired, he preached Christianity to live audiences of nearly 215 million people in more than 185 countries.

After the Age of  Seventy:

• Continued to host crusades, TV and radio shows until retiring in 2004 at the age of 86.
• At age 81, inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame
  
• At age 82, he received the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award in 2000
• At age 83, named Knight of the British Empire
  
• At age 88, serves as a close adviser to George W. Bush, who called him the "nation's pastor."
• At age 88, remains influential in politics; had a high-profile meeting with John McCain in 2008.
• At age 88, writes a nationally syndicated column
