The yellow jersey has officially been revoked. The Court of Arbitration for Sport has upheld a decision made after the 2006 Tour de France which stripped Floyd Landis of his title. And if that's not enough, the court admonished Landis, saying that he not only tried to question the positive doping test that started the controversy, he alleged serious problems with the lab itself. The CAS panel released a 58-page decision, saying that Landis tried to embarrass the lab, even after an investigation showed that there was no evidence of lies, fraud, forgery or cover-ups.

The decision comes just days before the first leg of the 2008 Tour de France, and also upholds a two-year ban levied against Landis for cycling. It's scheduled to end in January of 2009. Through appealing the ban, Landis had hoped to get his title back, and bring attention to what he considers a flawed system, but this now appears to be the end to an extremely expensive, very long case in modern cycling history.

Landis gained worldwide attention with his 2006 win, because he made an amazing comeback in Stage 17. That comeback was later revealed to be the result of Landis' taking of synthetic testosterone.

Want to see some real cycling stars?

Cycling legend Thurlow "Turbo" Rogers has raced away with more than 300 victories in his career, and the 47-year-old says he's only getting better with age.

Californian Gordy Shields is living proof that it's never too late to excel at whatever it is you enjoy and that anyone can overcome almost anything. The 88-year-old can't walk more than 100 feet but he's one of the country's best cyclists.

At 64, Joe Neal is the oldest member of the triathlon team at The Villages, Fla., and he's just getting started. Triathlons consist of biking, swimming and running. In team triathlons, one member only needs to complete one of the three legs. A former college athlete, Joe now specializes in the cycling leg.

Two years ago, master cyclist Sandy Scott was racing toward his goal of winning the Florida Senior games time trials when he was involved in a horrible accident. To avoid a person who stepped in front of his bike during the 10K time trial, he swerved suddenly, sending him flying over the handlebars and landing headfirst on the pavement. He temporarily lost his memory and broke his C1 vertebrae. But now, after a grueling journey to repair his shattered bones, he has shattered a state record.

Ned Overend is the Michael Jordan of mountain biking. He is the first-ever world mountain bike champion and six-time national mountain bike champion. At 52, he's still whipping the whippersnappers.

Tom Tucker rode his bike from The Villages to Key West and turned around and made the trip back. During his 463.75-mile-trip to the country's southernmost point, the 62-year-old had a lot of fun, including an arrest for trespassing.

Wendy Chioji has been the face of Orlando news for 20 years. Her battle with breast cancer enlightened all women; her determination to help others was only equaled by her dedication to becoming a world-class athlete. Now, her glamorous job doesn't seem as important. It's time to start growing bolder.
