Bottoms up! Prohibition is overturned, ending nearly 14 years of bootlegging and speakeasies.
Even after Congress ends Prohibition, some states will continue to outlaw alcohol through state temperance laws.
Mississippi will be the last dry state standing, ending its Prohibition in 1966.
