Old Guy with New Tricks

The 78-year-old told Automotive News that he's going new school when t comes to marketing and he has big ideas for viral advertising. "We will be doing a whole lot more with the social media and with webpage stuff," he said, "including clever YouTube stuff that's good enough to where it gets passed on. We need to recapture the attention of the American public. If six months from now, GM ads look the same as they did six months ago, then somebody really needs to ask, 'Why is Lutz here?'"
