Pick on Someone Your Own Age

Hard-partying Gregory McCalium of Botley, England got upset when his elderly neighbor called police to complain about loud noise coming from McCalium's home.  So the 24-year-old armed himself with a knife and brass knuckles and broke into his neighbor's house to rob him and "teach him a lesson." What he didn't realize is that the 72-year-old neighbor,  Frank Corti, is a retired boxer and a veteran of the British armed forces. 

Corti not only dodged a knife, he quickly disarmed McCalium and proceeded to teach him a lesson before restraining him until police arrived.  A mug shot released by the Thames Valley Police reveals the results. 

The judge in the case sentenced the burglar to four and a half years and said, of the beating, "You got what you deserved."

Corti, who's wife was also in the house at the time of the attack, admitted to being scared. "I was scared when he first threw the knife, but most people would have acted in the same way. If you can't defend what's yours, where are we at?"
