No one is really sure how it all got started, but starting in 2005, some jokes started making the rounds on the Internet. Jokes like, "Death once had a near-Chuck Norris experience," and "There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of animals Chuck Norris allows to live." In a flash, the actor and martial artist became a superhuman. Chuck himself found the phenomenon so amusing that he contributed to and endorsed the "The Official Chuck Norris Fact Book" in 2009. This week, the man who "counted to infinity -- twice" turns 71. Keep roundhousing those stereotypes of aging, Chuck!
