Since Marilyn Monroe consorted with JFK and other prominents, I would interview her in the hope of truly finding out the cause of her demise to either dispel or confirm theories surrounding her death.

Funny the question would be asked in that way. The person I would pick would be Socrates from Classical Athens. And we could be pretty sure that he would be telling the truth as it was his unflinching (and unwelcome) way of "holding a mirror up to" the citizenry of Athens that eventually earned him their wrath and the fateful drink that ended his life. Winston Churchill would be my pick. I'd quiz him about how he really felt about Roosevelt and Stalin. DeGaulle didn't matter. I'd ask him about his paintings; his love affairs (rumored); his marriage and Randolph. I'd also ask about his memories of George and the woman for whom he abdicated the thrown. Churchill was a deal maker/breaker for so long and a fascinating human being.
I would want to talk to someone out of historywho would have ideas that could help build
our economy today!
I believe I would want to interview someone whose innovative ideas and hard
work contributed to building new industries that gave millions of people jobs
in the 19th and 20th centuries. Maybe someone who also faced similar insurmountable
odds America
is facing right now. You know someone who has actually done it and not just
theorized their whole life.
I would want to choose someone who would be a role model free enterprise
and an example of true American ingenuity! Someone who never looked to the government for answers and bail outs.
Maybe even someone who had
experience with electricity and power distribution. It would really be cool if
this person also had a vision for alternative and renewable energy back say, a
hundred years ago!
Maybe I could interview the person who developed the storage battery and see if
he had any ideas about battery powered cars then and now. Or the person who
started the recording and motion picture industries when nobody had even
dreamed about them!
Who knows what we could learn from the methods and philosophy of such a 'get it done' visionary.

FDR........ Tell me what really happened before Japan bombed Pearl Harbor?? Why did you not set time limits on all the government programs that were so important during that time, but we out grew them. They should have been closed. Tell me about Elenor. What would you suggest for todays economy. Marlena

I'd go with God but if He doesn't count I'd have to say Jesus. What happens after death? Are we alone in the universe? I also have a few questions for Lee Harvey Oswald and my ex-husband.
