Susan B. Anthony was a social reformer best known as a women's rights leader, but she also campaigned against slavery. She was also strumental in the passage of legislation that gave married women legal rights over their children, property and wages. In 1869, she organized the National Women's Sufferage Association and lectured for decades on women's rights and abolitionism. At Ages 64-67 (1884 to 1887), she published the "History of Women's Sufferage." She also organized movements on an international scale. At age 68 (1888), she led the International Council of Women.

After the Age of Seventy

• At Ages 72 to 80 (1892 to 1900), she was the president of the National Women's Sufferage Association.
•  At age 84, (1904) she spearheaded the International Woman Suffrage Alliance in Berlin, Germany.
• In 1979, she was honored as the first woman on U.S. coinage.
