Press Release… Sardis City, AL – Lighthouse Coastal Literary, Lighthouse Coastal Productions and Lighthouse News Bureau is pleased to announce that the Plano Christian Church Seniors Project of the Plano Christian Church at 9 Schomer Lane Plano, IL 60545 will be holding their first “Senior Seminar” on May 17, 2008 from 10am to 2PM-CST. The Special Guest Speaker will be National Author/Writer/Syndicated Columnist/Speaker and Celebrity Radio Talk Show Host, Shirley W. Mitchell, Included in the Event will be Audio & Video Presentations, Give-a-Ways, and The Seniors Project. A Brunch will be served. Tickets for the Event are $5.00 each and can be purchased at the Plano Christian Church Office or by calling 630-552-7640. This First-Time Event is being organized to facilitate an active Christian Seniors Group in the Plano, Sandwich and Yorkville Area Communities. The Seniors Project goal is to grow a vibrant, growing seniors' ministry at Plano Christian Church and provide an outreach to un-churched seniors in the local communities. Specific goals are to provide seniors with additional resources and events, helping them to build relationships with other seniors, to use their own skills and knowledge in serving others, to grow and keep an attitude of joy, gratitude and love, and to continue to make a positive difference in the world around them.

 

Special Guest Speaker - Shirley W. Mitchell - known as “The Golden Egg of Aging™” and “The Original Baby Boomer Promoter”, is the Author of 5 Books including “Fabulous after 50™” & “Sensational after 60™”, and a Co-Author of Three Books including “101 Great Ways To Improve Your Life”; Columnist of the weekly Newspaper Column “Fabulous after Fifty” and the Syndicated On-Line Column Spiritual Sparks for Baby Boomers™; Columnist for Senior Lifestyle Magazine and Senior Evangelism Partnership; Columnist for Passionate for Life Magazine, and an Inspirational, Motivational & Keynote Speaker.
