Well it was a pretty slow week. Only two runs from Orlando to Miami then to Winston/Salem,NC and back to Orlando...twice. I'll tell you that Miami traffic is absolutely terrible. I think I would rarther go through NY City than Miami. From where I get on and off on 95 in Miami (the 826 Palmetto Expwy), there is 80 miles of bumper to bumper traffic. The Taco 500 (that's Interstate 10 in El Paso) can't even come close to Miami. I mostly haul doubles and that rear trailer just does a dance in some of the construction areas. My other tolerance tester is fog. Especially at this time of the year. I would rather drive in rain and snow than fog. You just never know what's ahead of you.
Well I'm just waiting for the phone to ring to see where we are going next.

Posted 6:41 pm December 3rd, 2007Hi George! I bet you see some interesting things spending your time driving all around the country. If you get the chance, can you give us a feel for whether 3 dollar a gallon gas is going to keep anybody off the road this month? Also, where are the best and worst drivers in the nation? And, as if that isn't enough, are there some construction hotspots we travelers should watch out for? Jeez, we should just put you on the payroll!
