I've been trying to figure out a way to make my pop art and pop culture art available to every size wallet with just a click of a mouse. It's part of my mission to bring unique and original art to everyone where possible. I believe that good art should be available to everyone!
I found one avenue with my
PopArtDiva Boutique - where my art is available on many different gift items, apparel and even home decor. It's been wonderful to make my fun baby boomer inspired art available on things like cups, tees, hats, aprons, clocks - even doggy tees and boxer shorts, lol!
Then just a few weeks ago I got a brainstorm when I needed a birthday card for my aunt. I had forgotten her birthday and needed to get one in the mail
that day but didn't have one darn card in the house. Of course being an artist I was able to create one and print it out on my computer and get it in the mail that day (thank God, because Aunt Glady would never have let me forget missing her birthday!!!)
But this made me wonder about those of you who
aren't artists. If you needed a card today - right now - would you really
want to have to get in the car, drive to the store and get one? All that time, effort and gas for
one card? And, oh goody, you get to pay upwards of $4 to $5 for that piece of printed paper! Yeah, you could send an e-card, but do you really like those cheezy electronic cards? (besides my Aunt Glady is 92 - she won't touch a computer!)
Then I thought if I can print my art on greeting cards to mail out -
Why Can't You??? So I got busy and created
EASY GREETING CARDS by PopArtDiva. This is my new
Print On Demand Greeting Card Service.
- I have Funny Cards, Retro Cards, Inspirational Cards, Abstract Cards, Adult-ishCards and Martini Cards (you know me and my martini obsession!).
- You can download a jpg file with the card and instructions for only $2.00
- You can print this card again and again for that fee.
- It's Easy as 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - Print, Trim, Fold and Mail.
Hey, I even did a video with instructions and fun tips for adding your own creativity to your cards and some scrapbooking tricks!
Check it out - I just started this month but I'll be adding more and more of my existing designs and new designs often - I'm just now finishing up some
Postcard Invitations!
And let me know what you think of my idea, okay.
Happy Card Sending!
