Wow! Where do I begin? I don't have a lot of time to this will be a quick blog. I just wanted to write a few words about our amazing trip to the UK. First of all, many thanks to John and all the people from Sing Live UK who gave us such a warm and welcome reception. We were so well taken care of while we were away that we had a hard time leaving! The 10th Anniversary Ball was amazing - nothing beats dancing with the 'Brits' until the wee hours of the morning! And the concerts- wow - I can't even put into words what our performances were like. Both shows were fantastic and we couldn't have asked for better audiences. John did a terrific job hosting - and, although he may have been a bit nervous about it, he had no reason to be. He was a smash!
The entire trip was fantastic but, for me, the hightlight was definitely being able to join forces with the UK singers, specifically Alison Nunn - for our duet, "I Know Him So Well." What an honor to be able to represent both Sing Live USA and Sing Live UK in a truly international duet. I am humbled and grateful beyond words and so excited that it went so well! Thanks for believing in me, John and for giving me such an incredible opportunity!
Well, sorry this entry is so short, but I have to run. I'll write more about the trip in the future but, until then, you can check out both Molly's and Jeri's blogs. Hope you're all doing well! Looking forward to our next Sing Live adventure!
Much love,
Jen

I'm so glad you posted this! I Know Him So Well has a special place in my singing heart, too, because I performed it during my high school senior year showcase ... ah, the memories. :) It's such a beautiful song, and still gives me chills when I hear the original. It's one of those that I hum while cleaning, or when no one is around.
Kudos to you and Sing Live for having the guts to go out there and do what you love -- it seems like you're reaping the rewards!
